One Herkimer Diamond

Notes: Crystals with an even flat shape are referred to as tabby or tabular crystals (see top photograph). A tabby crystal is recognized by 2 large flat facets on the front and back, making a wide, thin, flat crystal. Metaphysically inclined persons will be interested to know that the Tabby, or Tabular is carried to enhance communication, creativity, smooth energy flow and integration of ideas and balance. This shape makes them extremely useful for a ring setting as well.
A ghostly occurrence in the center of this Herkimer Diamond has a triangular shape and is just visible with the naked eye. It did show in a couple of the photographs.
This is an unusual tabby, or tabular crystal that is spectacular. It is also a Herkimer Diamond meant to be shown off. An excellent choice for jewelry, especially a ring.
