Great shape, excellent clarity and interesting double termination points mark this quality Herkimer Diamond.
A common termination point occurs when six faces (or facets) join together to form a point. An alternate is when the facets come together with a flat edge. This is not as common, and referred to as a chisel tip. The top photograph clearly shows the difference in the points.
It is a choice Herkimer Diamond. |
