One Herkimer Diamond

Notes: The excellent clarity of this quartz crystal is sure to attract someone to this Herkimer Diamond. One tiny clear inclusion suspends itself in the center.
The crystal is double terminated. One tip is clean and sharp. The other has a cascade of drusy crystals next to it.
A window and left activation facet lay along the same facet line on one side. The opposite side has an additional two left activation window facets. One of the windows photographed in the bottom picture above and top left picture below.
A 'window facet' is recognized by a diamond-shaped facet or "window" located at an area where the facet lines should have come together in a point, but instead created an additional diamond shaped facet. A left activation window is recognized by an inclined window located on the left side of the primary face of the crystal. Used mainly to increases performance of the left brain function. I've also seen this called a "time link". The left activation window is said to be a time link to the past.
The total of 4 window facets on this quartz crystal would make it quite powerful. A loupe is needed to fully appreciate these window facets.
This is a high quality water clear B grade quartz crystal.
