Notes:

This set of Herkimer Diamonds includes a twin crystal, a tabby crystal and an interestingly skewed shaped crystal. Sizes and descriptions as follows:

  • This 12x5x4.5 mm gemstone is a twin crystal. One end of the crystal has a double tip. This double point can be seen in the pictures. Looking at it with a loupe gives it better perspective. The other end, or termination, the crystals grew together into a single tip. Both points are clear; the center cloudy with internal growth occurrences. It has a slender elongated shape.
  • The 16.5x9x5 mm Herkimer Diamond is a tabby crystal. A tabby crystal is recognized by 2 large flat facets, or faces on the front and back, making a wide, thin, flat crystal. Metaphysically inclined persons will be interested to know that the tabby is carried to enhance communication, creativity, smooth the integration of ideas and balance. Both termination points are complete; one has some interesting key marks. Some specks of anthraxolite are present as well as some external marring.
  • The 16.75x13.5x10 mm gem has a skewed shaped. It will stand on end and to me resembles a penguin. One end is quite clear, as can be seen in the pictures below. The other end has internal growth occurrences including anthraxolite. Sparkly rainbows can be seen in this end. Externally some key marks are present and show in the pictures. The crystal is much brighter than the picture.

All of these Herkimer's are complete crystals. This tabby, twin and slanted crystal make for a great assortment of Herkimer Diamonds at an affordable price.
