One Herkimer Diamond

Notes: This traditional shaped double terminated Herkimer Diamond has quite a variety of internal inclusions, giving many of the facets sparkling rainbows.
Also encased in the quartz crystal is crystallized anthraxolite, one of which measures about 5 mm; awesome when viewed with a loop.
A sprinkling of iron is trapped inside as well, and can be seen clearly in the pictures. Keep in mind, for some reason, iron always reflects a strong orange in my pictures. In person, it is a pale yellow color. In the case of this quartz crystal, very pale; the pictures are deceiving.
One of the facets, or faces, sports 2 tiny Herkimer Diamonds (see bottom picture above). All other facets are smooth and complete. It is a well defined double terminated quartz crystal.
