Herkimer Diamonds classified with a C grade will have matrix, or attachment marks and may be missing a termination point. Some of the stones will have cloudy color. There may be fractures in the crystals as well. These fractures create brilliant rainbows and are popular with those interested in the metaphysical properties of crystals and gem stones. It is a powerful healing crystal. The natural double termination points on the Herkimer Diamond, as well as many other unique qualities add metaphysical properties not found in the more common quartz crystal.
