This beautiful crystal has two blown out en hydro's in it. An en hydro is a small bubble with liquid in it. Two of the facets sport an inclusion that looks like a small bubble of liquid exploded; most likely due to temperature changes. This would be referred to an a blown out en hydro In the case of this Herkimer, the explosion did not surface, but can be seen within the gemstone. One of these show up well in the photographs.
The Herkimer Diamond is "all but" double terminated with chisel tips. A chisel tip is defined by a flat edge rather than a 'point' and is more rare. This aspect can also be seen in the photographs.
The majority of facets, or faces, are smooth and complete.
Internally, the crystal has clear inclusions. Two of which look like round ghostly rainbows, very cool. Overall, it is a metaphysical crystal with very good clarity.
With it's generous size, smooth facets, interesting internal occurrences and rainbows, it feels like a wonderful metaphysical and healing crystal.
