| Notes: |
The cluster is made up of a large parent with 4 small crystals attached. The small Herkimer Diamonds range in size from 2-10 mm. Two of them are very small, but well-defined.
Externally are some key marks from both tiny crystals and anthraxolite crystals. None are very well defined.
Anthraxolite is present both externally in internally. A relative of coal, the anthraxolite gives the Herkimer Diamond a rich or darker hue.
The large crystal is double terminated, one of the points has excellent definition, the other is marred. Many of the faces are smooth and one has a cool triangular mark.
Most of the faces in this crystal cluster spark bright colorful rainbows. A rainbow occurs when light is refracted by the prismatic effect of inclusions. Metaphysical inclined persons believe a rainbow crystal will bring rainbows into ones life; assisting in dealing with negativity. |
