Notes: A light coating of iron oxide gives this golden healer quartz crystal a citrine yellow color externally.
It is just double terminated, with a bit of drusy near one tip.
A large, well defined 6 sided key mark is present and shows well in the bottom pictures. It flashes sporadic rainbows.
The clarity of this golden healer quartz crystal is very good.

A key mark is recognized by an indentation that is a three or six-sided shape located on the crystal: it becomes more narrow as it steps into the crystal. This type of marking on a Herkimer Diamond occurs where crystals grew together, but did not fuse. At the areas where the 2 crystals grew there is a pattern of geometric lines etched along the surface. Persons inclined towards the metaphysical use it to unlock the doors to healing concepts and aides in answering questions about the self.
