An interesting specimen of quartz crystal, this Herkimer Diamond is complete and has many smooth clear facets.
A growth area of baby crystals is found near one end. Looking into one of the facets, or faces near here a trapped growth of drusy is seen inside the crystal.
The other tip is blemished with exterior growth occurrences.
Anthraxolite is also present externally at this end and can be seen in the pictures.
The many healed fractures and internal growth occurrences make this gemstone specimen sparkle. Pastel rainbows shimmer from all sides of the stone. A rainbow occurs when light is refracted by the prismatic effect of inclusions. Metaphysical inclined persons believe a rainbow crystal will bring rainbows into ones life; assisting in dealing with negativity.
This Herkimer Diamond fits nicely in the hand.
The pictures don't do this quartz crystal justice, it will not disappoint.
