Natural Herkimer Jewelry is created from Herkimer Diamonds in their natural form. These crystals have not been touched by any type of lapidary machinery, including polishing. They are an impressive feat of nature. Most of the natural Herkimer jewelry pieces display the quartz crystals wrapped in Sterling Silver wire. The crystal gemstones make fashionable earrings, pendants and charms dangling from bookmarks.
Other natural Herkimer quartz jewelry includes pendants of small gemstones floating freely in cages or small glass vials.

Machine Cut Herkimer Jewelry is created from pieces of Herkimer Diamonds that have been shaped and polished on a faceting machine. Since Herkimer's have the same hardness as other quartz crystals, amethyst and citrine for example, they make durable jewelry. All of the faceted quartz are water clear and set in Sterling Silver. They also look beautiful set in gold. Any of the settings shown can be ordered in 14k gold. It's a beautiful look, but more expensive; email us for a quote. Current faceted Herkimer settings include rings, tie tacks, pendants and earrings.
