This single earring is a twinning crystal. Wikipedia describes crystal twinning occurring when two separate crystals share some of the same crystal lattice points in a symmetrical manner. This gem has three termination points. Two at one end where the crystals were individual; and a single point where the crystals grew into one. One side of this crystal is clear, the other cloudy. It measures 12.5x9.5x7 mm and shows well in the photograph.
