1 crystal and matrix specimen

Specimen Length: 2 1/8"
Specimen Width: 1¼"
Specimen Height: 1½"
Notes: This is a crystal quartz matrix specimen with a lot going on.
The large quartz crystal that dominates the specimen is "all but" double terminated. The top termination has a minor contact mark. The bottom tip is complete and quite sharp. This is clearly seen in the photographs. This crystal measures approximately 20x15mm. The many internal inclusions give it a very cloudy look, but also spark some nice rainbows.
Setting along side of the larger crystal is an 8mm quartz crystal point; very well defined and touching the parent crystal. Another small but beautiful point sits on the other side of the dominate parent.
The next area of the specimen the eye is drawn to is a broken area of quartz where an additional double terminated crystal originally was attached.
All of this sets atop a sparkling bed of drusy crystals. Along the front edge of the specimen, the pocket line can be seen (see bottom photograph above).
Across the back of the dolomite matrix is a small cascade of tiny sparkles, not shown in the photographs.
