1 Herkimer Diamond and matrix specimen  
 
Specimen Length: 31 mm
Specimen Width: 22.5 mm

Notes: An interesting specimen of both cloudy and clear Herkimer quartz crystals shown in images above and below. Interesting because such a water clear crystal could grow so closely, in the same vug, to cloudier, more included crystals.
The cloudier crystals measure 19x8.5 mm and 18.5x12x9.5 mm. They are double terminated and attached firmly to the matrix. The majority of facets are clean with a bit of exterior blemishes.
A smaller quartz crystal point seen in the images is actually a twin crystal. Two crystals grew side by side and merged with the exception of the two tips. It measures 9.5x7x5 mm and is water clear.
Scattered between the crystals is a bed of druse and tiny Herk's of 1-3 mm.
This Herkimer quartz crystal specimen is well represented in the images.
