Notes:

This set of Herkimer Diamonds has one light and one smoky bridge crystal. Sizes and descriptions:

  • The 17x13x7.5 mm specimen, pictured above, is clear and light. The main crystal measures 10x9.5x7 mm. One tip is gorgeous and clear. From the other tip, jets a 9x5 mm bridge crystal. The bridge is double terminated and a third of it is embedded. Another point is present near by. This crystal completely merged with the large stone. Some external blemishing is present here as well.
  • The 17.5x12x9.5 mm Herkimer Diamond has a rich smoky color, pictured below. The main crystal, 15x11.5x9 mm, has a round shape and anthraxolite crystals trapped inside. One tip is sharp and complete with good clarity. The other displays a 12.5x8 mm bridge crystal buried about a third way in. It's double terminated with good clarity.
    As with most bridge crystals and clusters, internal growth occurrences are present in the area where the crystals come together.
