Notes: This smoky Herkimer Diamond has two small bridge crystals. A 'bridge' crystal is recognized as a smaller crystal which is part in and part out of a larger crystal. The larger crystal formed, or "flowed" around the smaller crystal which was already completely formed. Metaphysical persons call them "Inner Child" crystals. They can help heal and get in touch with your inner child (bridging the gap between your outer and inner self). These two small bridge crystals measure about 4 mm and have perfect tips and excellent clarity.
The smoky Herkimer Diamond measures 18x11x11 mm. It has very good clarity and double termination points. One tip has a slight ding. The smoky hue comes from anthraxolite trapped within the gem. Many interesting inclusions hang within the crystal.
Minimal external blemishing is clear and does nothing to deter from its beauty, in fact, it adds sparkle and depth.
This smoky diamond with bridge crystals would make a unique addition to any quartz collection.
