Notes: The many healed fractures are fascinating in this large double terminated crystal. Crystals which have healed themselves of their fractures by sealing over them are considered self healed. Because of their ability to have healed themselves, the metaphysical community finds them beneficial for all healing situations.
An unusual area of interest is a pocket of what looks like mud trapped inside the Herkimer. It is most likely a blown out en hydro that did not surface. It shows clearly in the top right photo.
The double termination points are both clean. A double terminated quartz crystal has the ability to receive or transmit energy from both ends. External matrix marring is present across one side of the stone and comes close to one of the points.
Several areas have pockets of great clarity, while overall, the crystal has a bright shine. The large size of the quartz fits nicely in the palm; making it ideal for healing work. The many healed fractures are very reflective, making it difficult to photograph, but colorful with rainbows. This crystal will not disappoint.
