Notes:	An interesting black manifestation crystal specimen with much to explain. The black manifest ion crystal is anthraxolite (fossilized sea plants) that crystallized inside of the quartz. Half of it is faceted, the other side, while crystallized, is not completely faceted. This is all seen clearly with a loupe. The black anthraxolite is completely encased within the Herkimer. Additionally, this specimen is the top of a scepter crystal. As can be seen in the photographs, the crystal rod is either broken off, or did not form properly. This area has iron oxide at the end. It shows much more dramatically in the photographs than in person. The Herkimer Diamond surrounding the black manifestation crystal has clean facets and lines as well as a sharp clean point. An intriguing quartz specimen.
