This pair of large Herkimer Diamonds formed together in a vug, their tell tale key marks fit them together perfectly as can be seen in the top pictures. We were torn whether to recondition these two crystals back to their original formation or not. After some consideration, we decided we would let the buyer decide and simply sell them together.
Both these crystals have large size, exceptional properties and are water clear. Sizes and descriptions are as follows:

• This Herkimer Diamond measures 21x17x12 mm. With the exception of the key mark and an anthraxolite spot (no bigger than 3x1 mm) this is a large A grade Herkimer Diamond. The seven sided key mark has strong geometric lines stepping into the stone. Externally a right activation facet is present. Internally, a small, rare manifestation crystal floats not far from a smoky flat inclusion.
• It's companion, the larger of the two measures 27x16.5x13 mm and is un gradable. A tiny blemish of anthraxolite on one tip keeps it out of the A grade category, but it's size, definition and clarity are so outrageous, grading it as B just wouldn't be right. The anthraxolite marks, rather than deterring from the gemstone's beauty, actually gives it a deep rich hue. Also externally is a small spot of drusy crystals, not well defined (can be seen in the pictures). Along with the large key mark, joining it to the 21 mm crystal, a sharp 3 sided triangle key mark is present. A window and a left activation facets are present as well. The interior of this Herkimer Diamond is absolutely flawless.
