This sampling of Golden Healer crystals includes examples of iron oxide present both internally, trapped inside the stone; and externally, as a coating. It's a surprise to some that rust can add such beauty and interest to quartz. The iron oxide can be removed from externally coated crystals with rust remover. Sizes and descriptions:
- Pictured below, the smallest measures 7.75x4.5x4 mm and has a heavy coating of iron oxide.
It is double terminated with a tiny double terminated crystal attached.
- Also shown below, the 15.25x16x10.75 mm point has external iron oxide.
The facets are clean and rainbows sparkle.
- Measuring 15.25x9x4.75 mm this golden healer is 3 crystals grown together point to point.
Anthraxolite is present giving the internal iron oxide a more golden color. View with a loupe to really appreciate it.
- The largest is 29.5x21.5x11.5 mm and just double terminated. Anthraxolite and deep rainbows glitter.
A double terminated and well defined bridge crystal extends from a facet. It measures 14 mm and is super clear. The iron oxide is trapped between the two gemstones.
Metaphysically minded people would be interested to know,as it's name suggests, Golden Healers are used in all healing situations. All healing levels as well, including the spiritual.
This is a well balanced sampling of unusual golden healer crystals. |
