This golden healer bridge crystal is an interesting specimen.
A 'bridge' crystal is recognized as a smaller crystal which is part in and part out of a larger crystal. The larger crystal formed, or "flowed" around the smaller crystal which was already completely formed.
The bridge crystal in this specimen measures 25.5x13 mm. It is double terminated. Facets and terminations are clean. The iron oxide trapped inside gives it it's golden color and golden healer properties.
The chunk of Herkimer quartz the bridge is embedded in has a smoky hue, adding more depth to the rainbows that flash.
Bridge crystals are a bit rare. Add to it the golden healer element and it makes a very nice addition to a specimen collection. |
