A Herkimer Diamond is a rare naturally formed quartz crystal. Herkimer, NY is one of the few placed on earth that these water clear, double terminated raw quartz crystals are found. They can be found loose in the dirt; but are most prized when vugs, or pockets of them are found when mining the hard matrix dolomite rock.
This is a quality Herkimer Diamond with excellent clarity, shine and hue!  The images represent it well.
