A natural Herkimer quartz crystal with sharp double terminations points and clean facet lines. Three teeny bridge crystals are present as well.
Slight whispiness internally does not deter from its excellent clarity.
Grading remains a very subjective yet important process when considering Herkimer Diamond quality. There is sometimes a fine line between each of the grades. When determining AA and A grades, size is an important consideration. 
Our grading process finds less than 5% of Herkimer's mined are AA grade quality. Of these 5 in 100 natural gemstones, maybe 1 or 2 are 12 mm (half inch) or larger.
