A fantastic, large Golden Healer metaphysical crystal. The mineral iron oxide gives Herkimer Diamond golden healers their color. The iron can be an external coating, as is the case here, or internally. As it's name suggests, it is stone to use in all healing situations. All healing levels as well, including the spiritual.  
Inclusions spark rainbows from many facets, or faces.  A rainbow occurs when light is refracted by the prismatic effect of inclusions. Metaphysical inclined persons believe a rainbow crystal will bring rainbows into ones life; assisting in dealing with negativity. Inclusions are both clear, cloudy and mirror-like.  Overall clarity is fair, but clarity is not what this Herkimer Diamond is about!
I'm sure there are healed fractures, making it a self-healed crystal. A healed fracture occurs during the crystal's formation. Something caused a crack, or hesitation in growth. As the crystal continued to grow, the fracture was encased within the gem stone, thus 'healing' it. Those interested in the metaphysical consider them powerful healers because of their ability to have healed themselves.
Double termination points are clean and sharp.  Many facets are large and smooth.  Some external blemishing includes black matrix and dolomite crystals (dog's tooth crystals).
While all Herkimers have metaphysical properties, the size of this large Golden Healer fits nicely in the hand.
